Sick of your old kit?

Donate it to Afrikit!

"At Afrikit, we want to give your football shirts and kits new life by sending them to some of the poorest parts of Africa in order to spread the joy of football, and for them to feel the buzz that we do when we put a football shirt on."

Here's a few photos from the website to see for yourself how the clothes are used:

What they'll take:
The following items in good condition and clean:
  • Football Shirts - All types (replica, amateur team etc.) regardless of age or size.
  • Football Shorts
  • Football Socks
  • Football Accessories - Shinpads etc.
  • Football Boots
  • Football equipment - bibs, training jackets etc.

For more info about actually donating, here's the direct link to the part of the site that talks about it.

I know this isn't a picture of someone wearing footie jerseys, shorts, scarves, etc. in America but it's a good cause for those people that have old jerseys, shirts, shorts, boots, etc. that no longer want or just don't fit into anymore.

Now go forth and donate!

Reviving Kits of America

Kits of America will start up again soon (like within the next week)! I know it's been dead for six months but I've been super busy with classes/finals/work. Someone gave the great idea to start again so hopefully they'll be more posts and contributions from different places! Plus, what better time to start it up again than Gold Cup time?
